North mole, 12/2/2012

Went down for fish at North Mole this morning, headed towards the end for first fish, was pretty windy and only managed a few little trumpeter so time to move, went down further towrds the enterence but still near the end bit of wall and again managed nothin, thought it wasnt going to be our day but decided to have one last stop near the enterence of north mole, first few casts there wasnt anyting there either before i caught a little whiting, we thought mabe there could be some fish here as we had luck there in the past, as we continued to fish we managed to bring in a few sand whiting through the plauges of trumpeter that were hanging around, the fishing really picked up as we had caught 7 whiting, 4 tarwine, 2 black bream, black spotted goatfish and a few bust offs on what were expected to be bigger tarwine, a few casts before we were going to leave, my bait got smashed, after a hard battle with what seemed to be a dead weight i brought up a nice 40cm flatty, ended up being a good mornin fishing and a nice feed to finish it off.
