hi guys, in Albany for work for the next few days with a mate, keen to fish the kalgan or king rivers for xxl bream. Anyone know if we can hire a tinnie or happens to have a couple spare seats and nothing better to do for the weekend?
Got a tinnie organized thanks to Gary at getaway.
nice bream from the kalgan last night too.

Franklin river
So we did the kalgan Saturday and found a heap of blackies, surprised at how many were size let alone actually large also got loads of what we named trout faced salmon seen as we weren't entirely sure what they were and a bunch of herring. Sunday we ventured onwards to the Franklin, and blow me down! First cast produced a 28cm blackie, followed by hookups on the next 5 casts, at this rate we were releasing everything due to so many size fish and the whole day ahead of us. Drifting the tinnie down the northern bank casting into snags as we go with z-man/motor oil sp on 1/24 jig heads suddenly matt's new $80 shimano rod with $50 sienna reel buckled hard and low and behold after taking line like a champ he pulls in a juvenile pinkie! Did not see that coming! A few casts later and I had one in the boat to match. Finished off the day with another 2 pinkies and a load more bream. Franklin is the go. Do it.
