Depends on what you are chasing??

Should think some quality 20 or 30lb would be suitable for that size. The price very much dictates the quality of the braid. Some of the mid range braids are more than good enough to do the job. On the other hand seeing as they are stellas you might as well go some top shelf stuff.

But since getting s Stella 800SW changed to Varivas. Best for the best. From the Rod (samurai Jid 10), snaps richters (damn they are pricy),best flouro leader I can get up here but not sure it is the best, Only the best Gamas, Owners, Mustads so from beginning to end you have the best.

Please feel free to top me up on better boys and girls.

for the saragossa 8000s and the 14000. Finns on the sporty stuff. Are the richter wind ons about the price of the bloody pricey swivels. I go 1 size up on them, and 3 for $25odd smackers they are tuff as nails and I am still a snap convert because i would change type of terminal tackle about 10 times a trip, If Paternoster single hook dont work, drift with a mulie, the a snelled prawn (seem to be killing everythin up here atm), then plackies, then jigs etc etc. Trying to find the winning combo, so start in all sort of paterns. The pics off the stella and Samurai in action is loaded with goddies, and the leader went, so might try the richter wind on with a Bimini to catspaw.

Getting more serious by the day.
