Bream

Went down to deepwater point and walked right up to mt Henry bridge fishing all the way along and had no success. Has anyone been catching any decent size bream at the moment?

Hey Mate,
The downstream yachtclubs (Claremont, Peppy, Flying Squadron, South Perth ect.) have had all the mussels die so it isn't worth fishing there.
Th bream on the flats at the moment are very hit and miss. I find they are closer to shore around the weed during the day and all over the flats at night. I am struggling to get a early surface bite here as well.
I am not sure about the canning at the moment, I hav't fished it for weeks. When I did, I didnt pull Anything.
Yesterday, we got a few bream in a yachtclub and that was it. Very quiet. Maybe 12 landed in 4 hours :(

If you need lure hints:
Flats: OSP Bent Minnow, Duo Toto42 and Smith Luna
Structure: Bivi Vibes, Zman Grubs and Madeye Whippy worms
