Bream Tagging Help

Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the direction of some bream in the swan/canning? I have been tagging bream for a Murdoch University research program funded by recfishwest.

Also just wanted to let people know if they do catch any of the tagged fish, you can keep them, but can you please measure the length, take down the tag ID number and pass on the information to the number provided on the tag.

If you can help by letting me know where they are biting that would be great. PM if you don't want to publicly share. People that are willing to help, I will keep them updated on recaptures and the fishes movements and growth.

Cheers

Hey Flexn, been getting a lot of smaller specimens around the Mt Henry and Canning bridge, haven't seen a legal size for a while.

Thanks for the feedback guys

Thanks for the feedback guys I will give it a go this week and let you know how it goes, hopefully a few bigger ones turn up as I mostly only tag bream that are 20-25cm or bigger. I have seen quite a few big ones around the bridges but none will take a plastic, or fresh bloodworm or live crab!

If anyone else have any reports let me know or keep them coming guys.

Thanks
