Broome- Just arrived

1st time poster, long time reader-

usually do my homework before arriving in town but short notice. Travelling the west coast fishing my way around, just came from an insane month in exmouth

Have a 3.75m Quinne, 4wd and will fish anywhere but know nothing about broome and madly searching.

Don't usually hook this site as I find my way myself but sick of listening to people who give bum steers as I have spent countless travel or fishing hours that are a waste

Can anyone help- Mad keen Mackerel on traul, like to get some nice bottom fish and have read enough about shore based so far to work out some good fish on plastics, lures, poppers

Someone said Barred creek good for Macks and traul not far out. drove up there today and looks like can get a dinghy either side of high tide.

If anyone can assist with info either:

Post here, Email me, catch up for a beer, Want to come out in the dingy, Got a spot in their rig

unfortunately no sounder atm, bought dinghy spur of the moment- (My name is grant, 32 and a fishing addict- I admit)

I am in town for months, I don't rape (took some locals out in exmouth last outing, caught over 100 fish and kept 1 spanglie), I just don't know the boating, tides, safety and most of all- where the fish are- so won't kill ur spots or secrets

Any help or catch up would be great

Cheers

 Grant

barred creek

Spent a bit time there, good spot. We launched in on high tide then keep the boat in the water for a week. Camped along the creek but a few got hammered by sandflies, luckly not me. when you leave the creek turn right and trawl the cliffs. skull drag as when we were there the sharks would smash everything we hooked!!!!

Cheers
