I would never make a necklace out of them, but it is cool knowing that others are aware about the "jewels"....thats how the fish got it's name in NSW...jewelfish, later abreviated to Jewfish.....a Mulloway

yeah a jeweler is the way to go  .. if you get a baby drill you can put a hole in the bigger end and glue in a wire loop .. ive done that with shark teeth .. but for my own necklace i got a pro job done as it looks great capped in gold

By baby drill I take it the nob above means a dremmel with a coarse sanding bit so that it doesnt chip and kill the jewel...

However go get it done in gold, will look a lot better

Sorry dude but IMO men with necklaces just looks camp,(yes even the sort that don the thick gold chain). id keep them in a cigar box or similar in the man cave, i wouldnt wear and animal trophy unless it was something that could kill me for the ultimate manly look exept a fox tail hat, they are a must have drunk hunter item.

dip in a hardener to give them a protective coat after you drill/hotwire a hole threw them, encasing like a diamond would look a bit chunky.
