Hi folks, chasing some info & thoughts of the 5.3m Carrabean Belmont.
An older hull but like to know if they are a good hull and how they handle in our conditions here in the west.
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated as usual,

Generally speaking, Caribbean hulls are very good and should be good for our conditions, but I’ll leave that to someone in the know.

Any idea.
Any idea what i would be looking at in terms of fuel consumption ???
I know it depends on a few things but a rough estimate will help.

Thanks guys.
Thanks opti, this one has a 90 Merc 2 stroke so i am hoping it is enough power.
I have always liked the Carrabean hulls and this is the only size i can get through the garage to park out the back, Lol
Thinking of mainly my old kidneys, thats why i am looking at glass instead of an aluminium.

Caribbean Belmont
Hey Deckie, I reckon a 90hp merc will go ok. hull is rated to 150hp and that would be fun but you will be running in the mid 30kn range.Understand about size limitations, mine had to fit the shed.Your kidneys will appreciate the ride,so far in front of an ally it,s not funny.Caribbean are still making the Belmont and they have,nt changed much so that must mean something.Good luck
