The video is outside the reef at Coral Bay at a spot where a potato cod hangs out. The bloke I was with that shat shoots the fish was at the spot 2 or 3 days before and had a couple of big tigers hanging around. We decided to shoot a buff bream to fire up the 3 grey reef sharks that were hanging around and get a bit of footage.
It was amazing how sharks turned up everywhere we went.Sometimes they were under the boat waiting for us so you have to wonder if the sound of the anchor is like a dinner bell for them.
Take note of the bend in the spear when the shark takes off with it

We both put on the shark
We both put on the shark shields when we decided to do this.I dont normally bother about it up there but I am pretty happy to have it when diving down here.
I was interested to see how little notice the sharks took of them.In the footage the other guy took with a Gopro mounted on his goggles you can see one of them come quite close to him and then it appears it gets a tickle from the sharkshield as it takes off at a rate of knots.
They still prvide a bit of comfort when diving.
