Coral Bay Yak Time

Spent the last few days yakking around Coral Bay. followed a few of the 4x4 tracks out of town and found some great ground. Caught heaps of great fish over two days on the water. Weather played the game, and had an absolute ball. Again wifey also did well, with soft plastics doing the damage on some great fish. Biggest went 55cm ish, and we caught several around this size, they sure hit hard and pull well the Spango's, not to mention damn fine on the plate. Caught approx 40 fish over two days, keeping the biggest each day for that nights meal.

Great spot this, and i'll be back for sure!!

Nice spanglies. Always fun getting them on plastics on light gear. Out of a yak must be even more fun.

In Coral Bay atm as well, so hopefully you've left a few spanglies for me :p

Lets hope the weather keeps playing ball.

How about some Pink Snapper on poppers ? The guys that just did the kayak DHI trip had a ball catching them like that 50 meters from their cabins,,i don't care for the sharks on Rapala report though,,lol
