Crayfish - setose or not? - edited photos added

Hi Guys
Question is, how hairy does the crayfish endopodite need to be before it is classed as setose?
Every female I have caught this year has some sort of hair on the claws, very very minimal though. Do you throw these ones back?
I have caught one other which had slightly longer hair, so this was easily different.
I rang fisheries to ask, and they said as soon as there is any hair, throw them back. He said it needs to be bare bare. Is this true?
Anyone have any photos to show?
Thanks

Any hair
That's the impression I was under, any 'hair' visible and they need to be returned.
I kept a female (first white of the year) a couple of weekends back and she was bare (didn't take photo's though).

It is the little egg holders
It is the little egg holders under the tail that you need to be looking at.
Shows them clearly in the cray brochure www.fish.wa.gov.au/Documents/recreational_fishing/licences/rec_licence_rock_lobster.pdf
page 10 and 11.
If you are fishing around Rotto you will find a lot of setose crays there.

it isn't quite as cut and dried as that.
Unless it has changed since I stopped doing it for a living (2005) and I don't think it has. ANY female will have that amount of hair , because they are a female. Only males will be completely bare. Since we were obviously handling large amounts of these on a daily basis, we had to have certainty. The hair on the tip is the first to exhibit growth, so look there . 2mm IIRC, was the max we were allowed ON THE TIP. If you think about the scale of that picture, I would call that marginal, probably non-setose. Someone said 1mm? perhaps my memory is faulty, but look at the tip first.
Edit--someone said they "rang Fisheries" be wary of that too--you spoke to one person, and you really will get variations on this sort of subject between individuals. As it says on the minimum size stickers they hand out, " This is a guide only"

thanks
Thanks guys
Yes the photo is very very zoomed in, the hairs are miniscule.
Still interested in what others are doing out there. I chucked 3 back this morning cos they had the amount of hair above.

If you need a magnifying
If you need a magnifying glass to see it, i think you're safe unless you're blind as a bat.

Why risk it?
The rules are pretty clear. Any hair at all is setose.

Serious
There is no way that is setose.. When I was pro fishing we would keep them twice as long as that.. Almost every female cray will have a little bit of hair.. That one is 100% fine
