G'day Fishwrecked,
Just wondering if anyone has/knows the quality of the Daiwa emblem Surf rod. I was looking at a few on ebay that were pick up from Perth.
Any feedback would be appreciated
Thanks

There good,
but very minimalistic. A mate of mine used the 14fter over salmon season down here (mainly to reach schools sitting @150m out) with great success. Personally i don't like the lack of foregrips and high reel seat but my word they cast a 4oz Richter half way to Sth Africa

I have one and I have to say I like it very much
As Matt said, they cast a mile.
They are pretty much a heavier actioned version of the Daiwa Moonraker.
The high reel seat can be a bit of an issue if you are not used to it.

Hi James, Those rods on ebay
Hi James, Those rods on ebay are not the Australian emblem pro rods they are USA models. And are a completely different rod.

The one campbells sell are the Australian Emblem ''pro'' model and the ebay one is the USA domestic market model i think... notice the difference in guides and components and the blank and model numbers.
