Question
As a bit of a SP Newbie, what sort of gear do most people use? Would a Shimano Symetre 4000 with 20lbs braid on an 8' 8-20lbs graphite rod be sufficient? What size jig heads for those 5/7/9" sps?

yeah i guess that reel would
yeah i guess that reel would do the job paulg son caught a 20 kilo duhie on a twenty dollar kmart special a few months ago. as for jig heads with a slow drift in 30-40meters i use a 1.5 jig head for a faster drift i use a 2ounce jig head havent fished plastics deeper than 50 m yet
