So is shiny / fluoro / lights good or bad?
I've heard a number of conflicting comments. Some say if you don't use fluoro or lights you will not catch the puka / bass etc while others say if you use fluoro and lights you will attract those unwanted species.

Alan, I dont like using bright light flashers etc on my deepwater rigs!
The lumo hook sleeves are great for a visual glow and helps minimize teeth wear also!

Tubes full of lead
All I do now is cut lenghts of 32mm steel round bar and weld on a chain link. No stuffing arround melting lead...and heaps cheaper.
Just a word of caution. Those sinkers are cut at an angle. They will chip the crap out off the gel coat if you drop them on the deck. Or chop a toe off..
