Dongara Mullas

So back to fishing, went to Dongara for easter and caught bugger all of note. While walking out on the harbour groyne just chucking a metal before sunset hoping for Tailor, I clambered over some rocks next to some blokes fishing and there laid out on a rock were not one, not even two, but THREE nice Mullas all about 1-1.5m long (dunno what weight that would equate to). There was a bunch of them there, possibly a dozen of them spread along the end of the groyne though i'm not sure if they were all mates. They knew what they were doing, had a gaff and all. As far as I could tell they were using mulies.
I tried off the beach a few days later with live whiting for bait and got fuggall. Anyone else caught that many mulla in one session?

Mulla
Lots of mulla being caught all through the area from dongara to kalbarri, I have been getting one nearly every time. This week fished Sunday and Tuesday got one both times between 15 and 16kg. Use mullet as bait. Fish the drummonds area, both fish caught before dark.

had good mulla sessions
have caught 21 mulla in one session between 4 blokes average 13kg each fish 3 fish kept rest released well, every year we get a session with 5 fish

South coast is all I can say on location, Sorry but if I let on proximity area we wont get the fish ourselves, If people think it is selfish or not true thats up to them but finding spots like this have taken many years to nut out.
