great report buz, and some fantastic pics. some people are just pigs when it comes to bag limits. imagine him teaching his kids about fishing for the future, anyway well done buz.
Was getting the salmon on Raiders, Richter Plugs, Fat R poppers, Rapala XRaps and Smiling Jacks. They seemed to almost want to take anything. But i was using the Raiders the most as when the schools went a bit further out needed the weight to get out to them.
Cape Clairault Road. To get to Mitchells rock to take the next turn past Canal rocks turnoff,Wyadup/Injidup road, turn left towards Injidup, take next right to Mitchell's.

awesome report yea went down to eagle bay and around that area tried different spots only saw one school and that was on the beach because of the professionals.
very dead area for salmon this year not sure why, hopefully changes further through the year. People i talked to said the same, should of went to injidup.
Might be able to go on Sunday do you think they will be still there or moved on BUZ?
Always worth a look there Ethan. My strategy for salmon fishing is to move from car park to car park. Anywhere there is a vantage point to be able to scope for schools is worth a look. Dont really like sitting on a beach with a bait out waiting for a school or lone salmon to come through. I do the whole hunter thing when going for them.
I like to always choose one starting point and get there before the sun is up. The schools seem to hang in closer in the darkness and then as the sun gets higher they seem to move out a bit further. Usually just that distance that you cannot cast to them! I woulod try Injidup if i was down there. But always pay to chat to fisherman on any beaches and see what has been going on the previous days.
heh where are usually the best metro landbased spots to throw metals at schools from? or where are they known to turn up at metrowise when they do? (obviously i know a lot of them head out wide.. but when theyre close.. where are the usual spots..)
Great report Buz. Shame about the ignorant fisho. He mustn't have kids that want to be able to fish well into the future..... Sounds like you had a cracka of a few days.

Injinup is south of Yallingup OT. From memory you go down
Cape Clairault Road. To get to Mitchells rock to take the next turn past Canal rocks turnoff,Wyadup/Injidup road, turn left towards Injidup, take next right to Mitchell's.
