That saily is pretty decent!
That saily is pretty decent!
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Pirate jigs did very well on
Pirate jigs did very well on big trout....and a few rankings...the standard metal jigs did just as well when everything was on the bite...fishing the tides is critical we also found the trout were only biting the two hours up to the high, where we could rankins etc etc anywhere up to 4 hours before the tide.... Mind you blake from oceanside got a 810 long trout at the peak of low on placcies....
Placcies did very very well just using PE2 up there means getting brciked alot
sail was caught on a 10 inch pink and white soft oscar...yerh we got hassled by sails all trip really really frustrating when wanted marlin..... that was my first attempt at small boat marlin fishing and the tease and switch will be on the cards next trip

What are you guys doing in
What are you guys doing in the 4th pic from the bottom, with the wire in the mud? Chasing muddies I'm guessing? Looks like a nice trip that's for sure!

using what we called a hook
using what we called a hook to pull the muddies out of where they are hiding...much more fun then using nets...gotta go at low tide and you will do ok.....exploring the mangrove is a must so much, but take plenty of insect spray
