Fisheries/Police sting in Cervantes
Submitted by Iceman on Tue, 2011-12-20 12:44
Just got a report of fisheries and police in crack down on amateur crayfishers selling thier catch to restaurants. Apparently fisheries went undercover to their home inquiring about buying crayfish. Cars, boats and computers were seized.
Great to see them catch these buggers who give the rest of us a bad name. Hope they throw the book at them.
Will be going to court soon so keep an I on the papers

Be good if
Fisheries/Police did a sting in a certain CP 40 minutes north of Jurien Bay, too much drugs in a certain CP and too many locals (also CP) catching more than they should and over the limits as far as fish/crays/crabs/squid

if u see it happening, why dont u call the fisheries.? its the only way to stop this from happening. just take a photo of the car rego or boat and get fisheries as much info as safely possible. its your generation who complains about the lower fish stocks and u wont even do anything about it?
