Flying Fisherman Photo of February 2011 Winner - Cuthbad's Ray
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Thu, 2011-03-31 10:18
Please vote for who you think is a worthy winner of the Flying Fisherman Photo of February competition, apologies for the delay in getting the comp going. The winner will get to choose $150 worth of sunnies from the http://ians.net.au/ website. Please check out the stories that go with the catches as well. Please remember if you think you have a worthy photo for the photo of the month, you must add it to the site as an individual image and not only in the forums. Cheers, Adam

Some great fish there as always.
Tom's bream is a ripper, and that landbased sambo is a fair effort in anyone's book... but the size of cuthbad's ray and the story that went with it does it for me.

Brad
Brad got my vote, to get something like that on fly is nearly a once in a life time catch.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Thanks for the votes guys! I was just hoping the ray might make it into the comp, then when it did I thought Kris's samsonfish would take it out, thats an awesome catch. Great to see heaps of landbased fish making POTM.
Cheers
