Gnarloo and Coral Bay this Xmas

Hi all, Im off to Gnarloo and Coral Bay for 3 weeks leaving Boxing day with the family. I will have a small flat bottom punt to fish out of but most of my time will be spent with the kids landbased. Can anyone recommend what type of tackle to take with me, im new to fishing up that way....also recommend any spots..dont want your "Secret" ones unless you want to PM me them :) Any help would be a great help

Get a map, only 2k's or so
Get a map, only 2k's or so north of town (might need 4wd) is a sandbar that sticks out. I've had a good session there for small trevally and queenies just chucking halco twisties. Very good fun on light gear! Will be up there for a week myself from saturday :)
