Grauvell rods

Has anyone a grauvell jigg soft or jigg starr rod, looking at using jiggs in the 250-400grm weight, just wondered what they are like?
Rog

Rods
Hiya mate,
I haven't used or seen a Grauvell rod but I have seen and used several rods in the JigStar range.
Not a bad rod for the money but definitely a level entry or beginners rod. They have a resonably nice action and look ok but they feel very butt heavy and unbalanced. For the same sort of money I would rather use a Shimano Wrex or Jig XR or T-Curve Deep Jig or a Daiwa Monster Mesh.
Just my opinion but good luck
Cheers,
