Half a Seal

Cruisin around Smiths Beach, checkin out the surf. Couple of mates came across a fresh carcass of a  seal washed up on the beach. completely bitten in half.

Glad i have my new shark sheild on my board.

Guillotines and Bears look great for early next week.

Oh Dear

It would appear seals have a problem with 'test bites' as well.

He new the risks

I think we could conclude that it wasn't killed by a bee or a hoon driver.

Well if a bee stung it on

Fri, 2010-09-10 14:34

Well if a bee stung it on the nose and it went wild thrashing around and attracted a shark...
then technically it was killed by a bee sting....

or it bolted off it’s quiet beach into the surf when the hoons did burn-outs in the car park and chased it into Jaws way….so could to be the hoons…

Now where did I put that report ?

Fri, 2010-09-10 14:55

The Ag Dept has confirmed that a study done in 1992 which examined the jaw strength of the nastielittlethingus thatstingus .....definately does not (unless really pissed ) have the jaw strength to bite a seal in half ....so I'm quiet confident that it wasn't a bee.

However I can't find any written evidence  to support my claim that the seal was not bitten in half by a hoon  ...........so I will withdraw my hypothisis.
