Hardyheads

Have been throw netting alot of big hardyheads lately up to 150mm long just wondering if anyone has had much success with these as bait and if u can eat them like white bait i know they have hard scales and to small to scale and gut but was just wondering if any one had tryed.

Yeh i know he was talking about the net was just messin haha.your allowed to use them on the coast with a licence but not in rivers not shaw on up north because you see them trow netting bait up there on tv often.What fish were u catching on them Russ was thinking of useing them for talor and mullaway.
You cant catch all the fish all the time (:

i have hooked mullas on
i have hooked mullas on them ,and used them down north mole with a few good runs
better when fresh but if they are of a decent size fillet and use them on small gangs for taylor, always good luck that way
