Beautiful country
up there. We hope to head to Broome about the end of March, early April, be interested to see also where, you can stay, sleeping in Caravan Pks, motels or donna's. Old fart would sleep with a swag on the side of the road if he had his way hahahah and eat tin dog like he did years ago taking transportables up to Pt Hedland/Karratha and surrounding areas.

Sherbert, I did the trip in
Sherbert, I did the trip in 2008, towed m 17 ft Traily up there with my Commodore, missus and 3 kids ranging from 11 years to 11 months..........between 18 L/100 km in the dunnydoore, kids spewing and $12 hamburgers, farkit was hard work but well and truly worth it. Epic holiday, love the north.
We left after work Friday, slept in a chalet in a caravan park just north of Gero, then next night in Canarvon, then with friends in Hedland, then on to Broome. Fished mainly boat but had an unforgettable day at a tidal creek about 40 km noth of Broome (cant remeber the name) , at one point me, the missus and my two older kids (9 and 11) were all on to solid Queenies at the same time on flick rods and gold twisties from the creek shore. Pandamonium, landed and released all 4, much to the delite of the whole family and to the dismay of te 20 baito's further up the shore catching nothing.
With only two of you, should be able to make much better time.
Make sure you camp at the beach around 10 km north of Ningaloo homestead (regs may have chnaged since I was up there over 10 years ago???).......heaven on earth and some good flick spin fishing off he beach.....even the odd 25 kg GT lurking!
Boston Whaler 235 Conquest......getting the flogging it was built for.

Sherbs just make sure you throw a line in at 80 mile beach mate! Caught my biggest ever queenfish in knee deap water on a high tide there and have seen monster GTs landed there all from the land.
