"HELP NEEDED" Still need help with floor removal

Still would like to speak to any one who know's of "BARON" Hull and floor...  Were to cut to remove the floor ? What's under there ?... This spot "under fuel tank area '' has no dranage... Factory set up... Cheer's Darryl

go for it daryl ,a few extra drill holes and a extra billge pump in the right place will give you peace of mind...... fibre glass is cheap to buy and easy to use ....have a crack yourself mate .....heaps cheaper

If you use a drill to get the depth of the timber floor ,then set you saw blade ,when you cut the floor you wont cut anything you shouldn't .I would cut a hole foot square and remove to have a look see,at least that will give you an idea of what is under the deck im guessing the deck is only glassed around the edges as once they sat it there they couldn't have got under to glass it ,i would think it sould have timber runners underneath the floor and glassed to the sides of the hull good luck

Go here, they have done all sorts of rebuilds over the years of this type and they may just have done a Baron if they have they will give a step by step tutorial on how it's done, you could also email peter webster there to ask him, it's worth a try

What do people actually use to replace  the stringers, if you don't use wood? Is it some kind of foam core composite?

i used some nice resin coated jarrah strong as ,the srtingers that were in it originally were like 2 x 1 sticks lol
