ID This Goldn Oldie

 Hi all new the Fishwrecked.

Can anyone assist in ID ing my Goldn Oldy.

We thought it was a Stebercraft and Old Bruce Steber (80yo) Confirmed it wsnt one of his, a friend of mine thinks its is a Penguin Contender.

the stern is very similar to a Ramsay or a clinker Swiftcraft

I have checked it out from stem to stern and cant find any ID, I dont think its a one off due to the quality of the finish and detail in the build.

It was apparently brought in 68 and has been a one owner since new and lived its life in a shed, the owners daughetr tells me it has no more than 150 hrs on the motor. The donk is a Evinrude Lark x 40 HP Electroshift tht looks like new. Im in the process of recommissioning her but in reality it only needs some wiring , a polish, new cushion covers and a new screen.

any assistance is appreciated.

Gus

Penguin Contender was a 23 with a upper helm so that discounts that model.

Guys my sincere apologies to Geoff.

it appears that he is copping some flack from other members for the pics he loaded onto the forum

he loaded my pics onto the forum on my behalf while my log in was being approved,

He was trying to assist me in IDing my boat and I thank him for that.

Geoff many thanks and please accept my apologies for any grief you have received.

Regards

Gus
