Preferably live on a snelled dropper rig, one hook in the nose, one in the side. but this only works for the small bakers. fillet the bigger ones and use as long thin baits, you usually get 8 good sized baits out of each fish.
Either way its a great bait! Just way too boney to eat them.
Forgot to mention to flick all the scales off before filleting, they will blunt your hooks quick smart! But still make sure your hook goes through the skin as its super tough and will withstand pickers better
