I alerted the producer to your question but they don't feel comfortable raising personal issues on something to do with marine parks which is what the discussion is about.

Typical double standards of
Typical double standards of our local news industry and radio jocks.
I think it's a very fair question as she is biased by personal relationships in marine park view with whales in both area being the key topic.
Seems no body has the balls in print, radio or news or what ever to take this woman on!!!

It's not ringing the station thats the problem but listening to what jessica has to say so that what you have to say is relevant to her statements when you ring in. There's no bias from the radio station Tony Haliday i can assure you of that and your question regarding jessica's private life will be a topic perhaps in the future.

tried, but got the regional
tried, but got the regional ABC office in the South West Bunbury and they could not transfer me / also knew nothing of the talk!!!, also don't have acess to a radio here to get tuned in either.
I have a few nice little questions I'd like to ask her on grants, funding, measure to reduce pollution run off & the large scale usage of fertiliser in the new developments of land lots where they bulldoze everything off and then throw tons of nitrates at the gardens later! ( biggest threat to the Swan, Canning and Couburn sound etc...)

The question's you've listed that you'ld like to put to jessica she wouldn't be able to answer but our biggest poluter in Geo. Bay is the Busselton Shire Council. The solution they have for fighting beach erosion is to cart thousand of cubic metres of sand from sand pits on shore and what happens when the ocean erodes that sand is that our reef platforms and marine habitat in the bay get silted up . Loss of habitat= loss of fish stocks and then they have the nerve to attack fishermen on the jetty and say they want to protect the marine environment from fishing. As you may have guessed this really annoys the shit out of me so I'm off to anger management courses " AGAIN "

The radio station had Kane Moyle on last week from Recfishwest regarding his opinion piece in the West Australian regarding Marine Parks and the lazy management of the fish stocks when sanctuary zones are put in place and she more or less responded to that. The same old retoric about bio-diversity and the need to shut up large areas of the ocean but tomorrow the station has Jack Jennings from the southcoast "Walpole and Windy Harbour " who is complaining that the commercial guy's are plundering the fish stocks in his region because of the closure in the metro region so I chose to point out on the program that this is what happens when large closures are put in place and all you do is create more problems along the coastline. Someone else phoned in with exactly the same opinion but didn't go air. Just got a mention. Guess he's a bit shy. A fisherman who's shy" NO "
