jig weight range for rod

hey
have just bought a hearty rise PE 1.5 to 3 rated to 120grams. i've been reliably informed that it should handle jigs up to 150 grams but i'm wondering how light a jig it should be used with and still work it ??
running 20lb
hopefully give it the work out this weekend as looking good at the mo

About 50g would be the
About 50g would be the lightest you'd want to use generally. 75 min would be nicer though, and should load it up fairly well.

Graham, whoever told you that is a lying bastard. Personally, I use jigs from 20-300 on my Jigforce.

And how exactly are you jigging those 300g jigs ey?
Just a little different action to 100-150g jigs? :p
And yes, you could go down to 20g, but not as much fun as the rod wont load much (just like i can cast a 5g lure on a 20lb/40g rod :p)

Seriosly though, i've used from 50gm lightens up to 130gm andamans and slightly heavier on the Jig Force, and it handles perfectly.
