Jurien - A different perspective

I know a lot of guys here frequent the Jurien area quite a bit - so here it is from a different perspective.
My dad is an Airline Pilot and I am currently learning to fly - it worked out nicely that we had access to a Cessna 172 which is based at Jurien Bay airstrip.
We stayed over on saturday night at the pub and took an early morning sunday flight - south over the pinnacles and back north over water.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't great - Overcast at about 3000. Didn't stop us though..
Beautiful Coastline even under cloud cover!
The photos show The coast looking north and south, Cervantes Township looking east, a rather low level turn over the pinnacles, and turning onto finals for Jurien Bay Airstrip runway 20.

good new look at jurien
Now that's a new look at Jurien, next time you go for a flight what about making it over Ocean Reef so that newbies (like me) to the area can get a good appreciation of the reefs out from there.

Would that be runway 20?
Or the reciprocal of that (200)? Just looks like your approach is on a SSW heading...
Just guessing...I'm not a pilot, just years of Microsoft Flight Sim under my belt! Nice pics...did you get any of the reef system off Jurien? Even on a low swell day it would still be quite impressive from the air...

Isnt it runway 20, (heading
Isnt it runway 20, (heading 200 degrees). then runway 02 (heading 20 degrees). Also from my old flightsim days.

Your dead right, mate!
I forgot that they take the last digit (zero) off the end!
