Karratha water in fuel

Got my boat serviced last week as it was not achieving full revs.
Went to the local service joint and first thing he asked "Where do you buy fuel"
I told him and he shook his head and said "Had heaps of boats lately with dodgy fuel from there"
So anyway, cost a bit more than usual to drain fuel system and service. There was heaps of water. Now I have 80 litres of shit fuel to burn in my VT
I always bought fuel at the place where most people do (not gonna name them, but we all know where most people go). Now I will have to drive into town and refuel after every second trip. Apparently Shell has the newest best tanks.

Had the exact same in Carnarvon... Still waiting to drain my tank..
I wont be buying fuel from one of the older places most of us have bought fuel from for years again. Well for the boat anyhow...
I wont mention which servo it is, but if you drive from down south and hit the intersection from Nor west coastal highway and Robinson st..... You are looking straight at it!!

There are two types of people ,do'ers and watchers
Right now the do'ers are the doing it

I'm going to guess it's the one towards the west of town? Dammit if so, I've never had an issue there before, I know the local in damps used to be shocking for it

back 20 or 30 years ago
back in the day you could just fuel your boat that had a two stroke outboard on it ( as they all did have those days) from a bowser in Dampier all was good for years , and then a heap of blokes cooked their outboards and it was traced back to the servo selling lean fuel ( not their fault it was what they were supplied}

Hasn't the dampier shell got brand new tanks? Was closed for ages last year. Real pain refuelling with jerries during the classic.
I remember the year before a heap of boats all got caught out and spent all day watching seperators. Quite a bit of radio banter about it.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
