Landbased fishing Port Hedland
Submitted by Watto069 on Thu, 2008-03-13 18:57
Hi All. I'm heading over to Port Hedland for the weekend to have a go at some landbased fishing. As i have never been to Hedland i'm not really sure where fish. Has anyone got some spots to try or knows how to get to some of the creeks around that area.

Watto, its been a while
Watto, its been a while since i fished Headland but for land based if you have a 4x4 try thr spoilbank. Throw out a hole bait and hang on as you never know what you will get. Head out to the point and try around there. Also try the boat ramp on an incoming tide as you should be able to throw slugs to trvally and queenies. As a last resort grab a 200pnd handline and fish the big jetties for GTs, trevs, queenies and all sorts.
