G'day all. The leather grips on my game rods are looking a little dry and worse for wear.
What at does everyone put on them to keep them shiny and feeling good
cheers sammy

Neatsfoot oil
Neatsfoot oil was the traditional method for softening and conditioning leather products. This was commonly applied to horse harnesses, baseball gloves etc. This may be harder to find these days as it has largely been replaced by cheaper synthetic conditioners. Places like horseland may have some or may may be able to recommend something. Synthetic replacements are also available from places that sell leather lounges and may even be available from places like Bunnings. I could not recommend any particular brand over another.

" Dubbin " neutral kiwi brand
" Dubbin " neutral kiwi brand .. leather waterproofing and conditioning .. I've always had a tin on hand , presumably would be good for your application as well brought from those small engraving kiosks in shopping centres ..

+1 for old fashioned dubbin
