Lure fishing dunsbourough boat launch

Hi guys I am down dunsbourogh for the weekend and have decided to fish the boat launch tomorrow morning but the shops are closed so can't get bait. Is it worth using rap alas etc for tailor and such?. Any info would be great, no point getting up at stupid o'clock for nothing. Cheers

Wouldn't really bother staying at the ramp for tailor fishing, they certainly cruise along so I would throw from the shore walking towards toby's inlet. Also could be a few boats heading out in the morning if the wind holds which will hamper you're ability to cast around

Cheers for the reply . Is Toby's inlet north or south of the ramp? Does the garage sell bait ? I am at clancys at the moment!

Not sure on the two petrol stations mate, don't ever really bother with bait always catch my own fresh or go to Dunsborough Outdoor Sportz for fresh mullet.
