Im looking for new tyres for mostly road and some beach driving.. had a look through old forums and only found one bit of info on mickey thompsons STZ... just looking for some advice as to if they are worth the $ and the performance you get out of them. if anyone has them and would like to share good or horror stories to steer me towards or away would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Good Traction, reasonable
Good Traction, reasonable self cleaning and long lasting tyre. Know a few blokes who run them on their 4bys and they havn't had any problems; much better than the Cooper STs one of them had on before. In my opinion well worth the money, cheap tyres are generally cheap for a reason ;)

iv got atz the 4rib ones and.they are pearlas not much road noise and look identical.to the mtz they are a loght truck tyre with a 10ply wall which is totally fkn awsome if off rd. they are suited to 60% on rd and 40% off rd. Imo they are a good all round tyre at a good price

STZ's
I have em too and yea I would recommend them... I have put 30000 on them so far and they don't even look 25% worn yet.... Little or no noise and I have never been stuck....
