Motor Beeps in Reverse and now in neutral as well

I've just had a problem on my last trip. I've got a Suzuki df140 2010 that runs perfectly, but when I reverse the engine warning light comes on and it beeps every few seconds
When I start going forward it goes away again. It only does it in the water though I can't get it to do it on the trailer. Anyone had this before?
Update: Have finally managed to get it back out on the water, and as well as beeping in reverse, it now beeps when idling in neutral as well. I've had the mechanic plug into it, and no error codes are coming up. Again, it only does it in the water and not when flushing with a hose. Any ideas gents? Mechanic will have to come out on the boat otherwise, hoping for any ideas before that

if it only goes off in
if it only goes off in reverse and in the water it sounds like a pressure thing where the motor is trying to pull itself up out of the water, could be a hydraulic oil prob in the rams that raise and lower the motor

Water pickup
Get someone to check the water tell-tale when in reverse. Could be the prop aerating and causing limited water intake, that's why it doesn't happen with muffs on (trailer). If that's the case trim her down more when in reverse and it may draw in less air.
