New Book ??
I hope I'm not breaching protocol here - if I am I sincerely apologise- but I have just found a publication in the newsagent called 'North Australian Fish Finder'
Aparently it only comes out every 2 years. It covers all the Oz coast from the Murray mouth (south of Perth) to Eden (NSW?)
Shows depth, Tracks, hotspots, GPS locations, gutters, bommies etc and loads more.
I am wrapped in finding iit seems to cover all the info I need and I'm examining it closely since we are trying to get some LB fishing in for a few days next week up mid north.
I have NO attachment to the company who produces it or even any commercial involvement at all. I just thought thast tthis is the book that will answer a lot of questions that are posted on this forum
Again Adam, I hope I've not done something wrong here
Regards
Phil

Seen it a while ago but didnt
Seen it a while ago but didnt know it went down to the Murray? Last one I had only went to shark bay ish. Also didnt show all areas in details, but more info is always good!
Interestingly they will even buy tracks/dr depth output, as they can be used to create 3d maps, so it seems they take a bit of effort in getting extra information (as opposed to just using existing charts like most marine software).

Yeah great info
Yeah great info book/magazine. Ive got the 6, 7, 8th editions. The 7th went to Shark Bay, the 8th went all the way to S-Bend. So i am gussing they keep expanding it further south with each edition.
Helped me heaps when i first got to Darwin in 2002 for chasing Barra. Great ofr showing landbased spots and the GPS coords to known reefs, and hotspots in the bluewater.
The one down side i reckon with it, is as it gets further down our way its going to highlight alot of the less well know landbased spots, but probably also some of the nice not so well know reefs offshore. Where it started up north its simple up in the Barra Creeks as the Barra move up and down the river systems all the time so really areas are constantly seeing barra move in and move out.
Oh well at least for those just starting out fishing it provides a shit load of knowlegde and advice on were to go and what to target!
Just hope i dont see any of my favourite spots marked :o hahahaha.

Got it at my local newsagent ($30 )
Showed it to 'Mike the Mad Russian' who's been fishingall over the top end for 45 years and he tried to keep it!!
In an hour he identified a lot of spots where he has fished and camped over the years
Told him to buy his own the cheapskate
