Never checked the water temp, nothing surprises me with metro mackeral any more (this was a spotted mackeral btw) they turn up shallow/deep, in warm /cold water and well into winter.

What was the Water temp, especially with a Mackies being caught. The water off the back or Garden was cold yesterday, NICE CATCH!
