Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows anyone willing to let me shoot on there property with two of my sons. I'm 55 and an experienced shooter but I have lost my contacts because I haven't been shooting for a while. Send me a pm if you have property or know of someone who does, don't mind having to pay.
thanks guys

You can come to my house and
You can come to my house and take care of the neighbours cats for free
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Peel Hunting & Conservation Club
This mob are loaded with top notch cowboys bullshiting about being conservationists HaHaHa
Let them on your property if you want everything shot right down to the birds.. Joey Kangaroos you name it and they will kill or gut shoot it.
There moto is... if it has a heart beat shoot it

Ive never heard of this club
Ive never heard of this club and know nothing of them, but what you have written sounds exactly like what many nonfishers write about Angling and Spearfishing Clubs.
Dont think I am defending them in any way or criticizing your comments other than no reason for that view provided, but hunting and conservation in context certainly can go hand in hand.
Just think ferals same as redfin/carp etc
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

That's pretty much it. Out

Out Wide, you sound like you've had a bad experience with them?
The trouble with hunting or shooting is you get a lot of cowboy dickheads who ruin it for everyone else, poaching or leaving property owners with a bad taste in the mouth.
Pisses me off, especially how hard it is over here in WA.

Inland hunting properties
Inland hunting properties tends to attract said dickheads who kill everything they see, and the properties get flogged, so not much good for hunting, although you still might get rabbits..

You guys above are on the money
For example...A pro roo shooter will come to a property on request and cull most of the roos causing damage to the farmers crops pasture ect.
On his round he will take out pest animals including Pigs Fox Cat..All good
But he will not take all the roos like very young juviniles..These youngsters are called tagers cause they follow there mothers everywhere.
Also does with maturing joeys in pouch. Most pros wont go there.
He will not take out Wedge Tails Eagles or other native spiecies.
Unfortunatly there are a lot of farmers who want every Kangaroo shot and doesn't care what the shooter takes out in doing this.
Enter the "conservation" hunting gun clubs [cowboy gun ho mugs ] driving around with a gun out of every window blasting you name it.
Any wanker who shoots youngsters by the hundreds and enjoys himself.....well what can you say about people like this.
I hunt myself...fish also... and most of us do the right thing but I can tell you these hunting "gun clubs'' have very low morals and will take out just about anything on request.
One club I know off will get you two letters from a farmer so a potentual cowboy can obtain a hi powered rifle to run amuck with. All you have to do is join the club then you are in.
Bingo we have a new conservationist.

My old man was a professional roo shooter, and you had to kill joeys if they were in the pouch,or just out because if you didn't they wouldn't survive on there own get eatin by prey or die of hunger....some places wanted all the roos killed cause they had farms where roos will destroy everything I remember he used to get paid $1 per joey this was 20 years ago might I add... but yes he would take all the Caucus and sell to the dog meat manufactures and all the leftovers went in a big hole supplied by farmer and buried
land agree with the cowboy comment so many fools with guns who kill inhumanly

touchy subject
A few times I have taken persons to shoot with me on properties I have permission to shoot on, and later they have come back on their own or with mates, got caught, and claimed I told them it was ok for them to be there. I will not take anyone now unless I know them really well and know I can trust them. Being told I am not welcome on a property I have shot on for 30 years , I let all my mates know who did the wrong thing, and said person will not get another invite. It is a privlige , and has to be earned. There are 3 people who I allow to shoot on my block, don't even expect them to call me , as I trust them, been asked by lots more who I don't know well, so don't allow them.
Join a target shooting club, don't be arrogant , get to know the members, if you have a skill that can be traded that helps, don't rush people, they need to get to know you, and after a while invites will come. That is how I started. I have helped build sheds, fences , carted hay, dug trenches for water pipes, lots of welding, fitted motors to farm vehicles, and now have a lot of properties I am welcome on.
good luck Marrisy.

brought a mate along thinking he would he respectful to shoot on this property with me but little did I know that he would go there without me and my permission and then I wasn't allowed to go either (20 odd years ago) so now I have been shooting on my property in Lancelin but you only get a few rabbits and there is a big cat that I can't seem to get!
Thanks anyway mate :)
