Ocean Reefers (not smoking pot at sea)

I got a letter in the mail today from City of Joondalup about a proposed fish cleaning station at Ocean Reef Marina. Two locations are proposed. One in the south west corner of the top car park, the other down near the toilets (which means losing existing parking bays there as well).
To me its no-brainer that it sould be in the top car park, purely for access. Retrieve your boat. Wash-down and drive up into the carpark to clean the fish. Parking much more available at busy times.
Interested to hear others views?

Have to agree - up top is better imo
on another note - do you happen to know anything about the proposed redevelopment of the marina, was all the talk for a bit - appears to be not spoken about now. I did notice last time I drove into top car park , that an info board that was there re development, is now not there or wasn't at that time. All seemed to be a good proposal from what I knew.

no way the city of joondalup
no way the city of joondalup is coughing up the coin for the developement, simply not enough income to spend that amount of money.
also the state government aren't willing to chip in or offered very little, so unless a major developer jumps on board you wont see an upgrade.

Handed off
The last I heard is that the City of Joondalup has handed it back to the state government.
I guess that means it is well & truly on the back burner.
As for the cleaning station, as it sounds like a good idea it could leave it open to a mess generated by folks dumping their general scrap into the bin.
There are a few cleaning stations around where this is evident.
I can't see the problem with everyone taking their fish home & disposing of the gut & frames in the way they do now. Keeps the area clean & not smelly. IMO...
Cheers & Stay safe

Would be good to incorporate
Would be good to incorporate a berley maker, but the public liability insurance would kill that without doubt.
