Definately Mitch

Definately Mitch, I had to re-work it a couple of times over, was just tooo classic. I love the vid, but still not as much as Jack Rock, I really want to find a place just like that!

both trevs and the cod vid are all the same rod and reel mate.my cheapest purchase so far .a 91 buck including freight okuma eclispe 90 reel. the rod is a 15 kg 6ft6 saratoga rod which cost me 45 with freight.and 65plb tuf line.it was its first outing and caught a lot biggish fish . all these fish where PULLED out of less than 8 metres of water .and buy the end of a 10 day camping trip the drag was completly stuffed.but it did the job .ive recently upgraded to carbon tex dragg washers which has accounted for apretty big shark 9ft and several other pelagics .the difference im sure you can relate is unreal.its certainly not top of the range but when soaking it in salt water and dropping it in the sand over its first two weeks of life it seemed a practical and desposable setup .its definatly grown on me .except for the short fore grip on the rod.my only complante!and im scared to crank that handle cause i know it will ,well just SNAP ha ha
cheers mitch
p.s i rate the rod for the price .ive had it bent right through the reel seat and and was actualy intent on snapping it on the shark just missed out on getting this on vid but got some OK footage which ill be sending down to adam next week.its no jig stick but pretty functional for what i get up to
always in it just the depth that varies

Drag

I could tell the drag was a bit worn , every time you pumped the fish you grabbed the spool HA HA .

WELL DONE with that set up too.
