Not sure if this is a stupid question or not lol
Do you guys just use standard unleaded for your 4 stroke or Premium?
Cheers

Premium
We use premium as advised by our Marine Mech:-
1. Stores for longer than regular as the manufactures account for it not being sold as quick as regular in their own storage tanks
2. Cleaner burn better for the engine/injectors
3. For the added 10c/litre it works out at $10 over 100L
If you are using quite a bit of fuel regularly than maybe as Johny suggest and other tank or so as you see fit.

I'm happy to put premium in every time, just wondering if it ok to do.
I have 2002 140HP Johnson outboard.

I would suggest
Just run regular unleaded 91 Ron, and add some F10 fuel additive every so often.
thise df140's are a very reliable motor. Corrosion is their biggest enemy. Lookup gold bolt dd140 on google and you will find plenty of info. They are otherwise a great motor.

You actually
Get far bit more ks out of higher octane less water ect . I’m up to nearly 3000 hrs on mine ,never used injector cleaner . I only use Caltex or Bp fuel ( both Come from same place, BP ) exactly the same . 2 bangers love higher octane . The only reason I run higher octane every now and again is to prevent using ejector cleaner . Iam no mechanic but if you use higher octane on 4 strokes all the time will it burn valves out quicker ? Only what I was told . Buggered if I know .
