Over night beach fish and now supported by the tackle shack
Beach fishing in and around Wilbinga national park,
And the people that dont have 4x4 can put your name down as a fishing buddy
We will have prizes for the best fish, Maybe a 1st 2nd and 3rd But that still need to work that out at later date
We will have to pay to enter the fishing comp and all the money will go to the prizes
And we will be fishing the open beach not the reefs, So we can all stay close by each other
The date will be soon, Only need to check the moon and tides
It will be a saturday afternoon to sunday morning Which should suit all fisho
This is how i see it...... All fish will be weighed in total length per fish. If you want to catch and release more so with sharks and rays you will need to have a photo of the species on a brag mat or some sort of fish/tape measure with photos to confirm the size and a couple of witness's which shouldnt be a problem as we will all be fishing together.

Don't worry about the weather mate ,the date has been set - if the tide is to high to drive the beach and we have to walk a few hundred meters to find a gutter then so be it . For the guys that don't / can't walk far there will be enough water to fish for the pan fish .
The only thing that could be a issue is a beach knee deep in weed,we will cross that bridge if it comes up ....

Think we should go with it sherbs,we dont always have to have comps(would be nice tho),but have a over nighter mabe once a month and start fishing some new area's as well,mabe go as far as wedge or mabe a bit further for now. Dont really want to go back south for a over nighter,but if we going to make it a weekend then i will go.

RAGBAG and myself have been talking about this for a while now. No need for it to be affiliated to the Fishwrecked site, we
can set it up totally separate. Just a bunch of guys / gals with similar interests getting together on a regular basis for a fish / friendly competition
and trips up north. I am more than happy to work with similar interested parties to get a club set up.
