Hey guys, i am planning to head up around Kalbarri area next weekend. i have never been up that far before and was wondering if there is any good spots that you can set up camp, stay the night and fish off the rocks not to far away from base... would preferably like to stay out of the town itself and if its not asking to much not have 50 blokes fishin the same water at the same time!!! I have a 4x4 so access is not a problem.
Not really headin up there to target a particular fish but just to get away, any fish caught will be a bonus.
Can anyone help me with this???

Yer lucky bay is pretty much
Yer lucky bay is pretty much the only free camping ground close to kalbarri and to rocks.
Otherwise port gregory a little further south but it is mainly beach fishing there.

Kalbarri
There isn't really any spots you could camp near kalbarri without getting a visit from the ranger, there are a couple of good caravan parks there or do as the others suggested and try lucky bay

Cheers lads ive just been havin a read up on lucky bay and it sounds perfect for what we want. Im just lookin on google earth to locate the track headin in there. found one which leads to the sand dunes slightly north of the lucky bay point. is that the main access track to get in there or what is the best way in a best spot to fish?
Is it safe enough to head up there with one vehicle?

One vehicle should be ok. It
One vehicle should be ok. It gets plenty of use so should be sum1 around to get you unstuck, sand can be pretty soft so let your tyres down. Someone posted the directions to lucky bay on this site bout a week ago so do a search.
