albany town jetty. anytime of the year. i always get good squid, leather jackets, salmon, herring, whiting, and well anything of there. some guy even caught a 26kg hebrew perch of it (dhufish) good all round place
metro wise love going to wilbinga... just the adventure to get there... always caught good tailor there up to 80cm... but the rock of ages at Port Hedland. On the rising tide 1m queenies and GT's... Sharks n Black Jews at night. Cant wait to go back
there are two, the south cliffs fm kalbarri for big pinks and up north at the emu fence off the beach rocks, you name it you get there!
FISH FOR THE FUTURE NOT THE FREEZER!
Whistling rock on Quobba station.Have caught some mind blowing fish off there for the northern spot and a toss up between the point on Cape Naturaliste and South Conto beach.
Had to leave out White Point, Emu Springs,Fish Creek and the Blue hole that sometimes forms in Hamelin Bay.
Nothing, only 100metres from the car, better rewards than Garth's,whistling noise to keep you alert[not that you need it] and a more varieties of fish to try for.
I like south wall at Quabba carnarvonite got some nasty photos of whistlers but every time I seem to go up its a hugh swell but it is a great coast thats for sure dont mind 2mile aswell had a pinky take a skip bate there one day bait as big as the fish.
Jervis Bay on the east coast over the summer months and even into winter is amazing. Lots of pelagics from sml tuna right up to marlin. And if that aint happening snapper, groper, drummer ect. And if that aint happening the scenery and landscape makes the hair on your neck stand up.
I though someone on here would have said Busselton Jetty
that doesn't have weed, peace and quiet just the two of us on the beach me fishing he reading the paper, snozing or going for a walk picking up wht ever that has been washed up on the beach.
It is one of the closest points to the Continental Shelf on the East Coast and has a whole range of landbased options.
You can fish places like “The Island” or “The Point” for small marlin, sailfish, spanish mackeral, big tuna and massive tailor.
Then there are numerous other spots that held big schools of tailor, great mulloway and bream.
And the scenery is awesome.
On the West Coats I have personal preference for Kalbarri as I could take my daughters there and they could fish in comfort in a range of places, or I could head to places like the “Blue Holes” and be just about guaranteed to have a great fishiong session.
Watched a couple of fishing shows on ch31 before it went bust on the Yalata beach areas.Catching big pinkies, mulloway, salmon and sharks all off a beach during daylight.Would like to give it a bash one day,can see why its on your and Tims favourite spot list
