poor buggers
My sympathy to all of you about to lob in Exmouth - you will find it's not all fish, fun, beer and BBQ's - it's probably going to be even better. Now i have your attention let me give you the drum on what some of us have to deal with here. No web at work all week as we moved office - same phone exchange but a week for Westnet to get us up - we hope, but still better than Telstra. Started the long weekend with the flu - still felt like crap this afternoon and started sorting out the fishing gear in the shed when the tickle in my T-Shirt turned out to be a Redback - no problems for about an hour then a burning on my hip and a swollen aching groin (rare) - my second bite in two years. Hopefully tomorrow will be an improvement - just a savaging by a rabid goat would be nice. Have a great time all of you.

Well!
not a word of sympathy - the groin feels better and even worse the wife wants the gutters cleaned - seriously, i feel a lack of empathy out there from you all. Please PM me for a delivery address for your excess fillets.

Whingeing
What are you whingeing about,Left Carnarvon this morning to head off to Exmouth, got as far as the Blow holes turnoff.Blew the top tank off the radiator, got on the phone and rang a couple of mates.Towed car and boat back home.
Mate said to take his old troopie,no worries.Keep an eye on the temp guage because the radiator has a small leak.Stopped about each 80-90k to top it up.
Get to within 10km from Minilya roadhouse and blow a tyre on the boat trailer.Go to change tyre and no jack handle, laying on dirt with a crescent winding up the jack with 47 million and 4 flies trying to eat the snot from my nose, eyes and where ever.
Finally get on the road again and arrive here all in one bit and then the worse thing of all happens---there is NNNOOO CCCOOOLLLDDD BBBEEERRR at my son's house just to top it all off.
When I blew the radiator I rang him to let him know it was a no go,so he didn't stock the fridge.I suppose its all my fault after all.But at least the troopie ran like a dream, now its up to the fish to do their thing now

whinge whinge
We have had a rumble in the 4x4 for about 6 months, so when we where coming home from Leeman last week, stopped off at Regans Ford for lunch and I walked around the back of our Toyota 4x4 to see what the dog was doing and I could smell burnt oil (hate that smell) and yelled out to Bob whats this oil coming out of our back left wheel. Many swear words later I finally got it out from him, the back seal had gone, so into the car doctor on Tuesday and replace the wheel bearing, he's also going to do the right hand back wheel bearing also.

That's Nothing!!!
I left a very decent Mulloway in the water this morning due mainly to reel failure. Only saving grace for the day was that the bottlo was open when I reached Two Rocks.... Beer was moderatly cold
