like greatrex said they were

like greatrex said they were avail for a while at $69, i missed that limited sale and mine cost $120 delivered.

it is a bit rich when you think the singles are as low as $16 like you said,  i have one of them as well, but for me with the bbq plate that locks in to the top, the carry case that also comes with tongs and egg flip and it can hold two spare cans of cas in the case was the selling point.

apparantly with this one it is also cool under the burner, so you can have it on a plastic table without melting it, i will find that out over the weekend!!!!

alot easier for camping just crabbing the one case and off you go.

i am sure the price will come down soon as well.

I've got a single one

cost me $12 at Broome Bunnings.  Local Coles sells the same thing for $30, however seems this 2 burner @ $69 has a lot more to offer than the single burner.  I agree the price will come down too.

We have been using a single burner thing for years when we go out camping and it gives me the shites...

Got one of these double u-bute burners a couple of months back on zazz or catch of the day or something like that for about $60 delivered.

Awesome buy.  Even if I had to pay double for it I wouldn't hesitate.

Certainly looks like a good

Tue, 2012-01-24 12:01

Certainly looks like a good unit, is it the same depth as the standard single burner job and does the plate make it any deeper or the same? I used one of those primus double burners a while ago and it absolutely f^^&$#d my icebox lid.

Cheers

I got one of these as well on the scoopon. I have tried putting the cannisters in, but when i go to start it, nothing happens. Anyone give any tips on how to get it started? or what i might be doing wrong?

The gas tins have a small slot / cam which needs to be aligned - if not aligned when engaging the lever hgas wont flow

I only use mine once a year. And forget about that stupid slot every time. Sit their wondering why it wont work.... and then remember the slot.
