prawn light / night fishing light idea - thoughts?

Hey guys, I went prawning last year in my dad's boat and I found the traditional prawn/flounder lights ok to use but had trouble mounting to the boat. With the strong current racing out the dawesville channel I found it hard to position the light exactly where I wanted it.... any way I've come up with a new idea, it can not only be used for prawning but night fishing as the new lights draw stuff all power and are bright! I've done it so it can be placed below the water line when fishing, but then removed for a front spotlight for the way home..
I'm going fishing tomorrow night so I'll post some pics to see how it goes... As you can see from the picture I still need to wire it up but you get the general idea. The suction cap Is 90mm in diameter and fits nicely between the ribs of the boat.

get a few prawns with it?
get a few prawns with it?
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
