Pressure washer buying - any suggestions?

In the market for a pressure washer, as usual i dont mind spending a bit extra to get something of quality that will last.

Can anyone give me make/mod they would buy again and what makes it a stand out.

Cheers

 Don't buy the karcher

Mon, 2015-03-09 20:42

Don't buy the karcher 2800psi from Bunnings... Low water rate p/m, fuel tank too small, hose not long enough & I did a water pump In mine after 3 hours use... But as I purchased from Bunnings its was a str8 swap for a new one. After 5 hours use on that one the motor revs up and down and pump leaks from the bottom... Spend a little extra & get something with a longer hose & bigger fuel tank! And as said a higher L/PM as well

think I paid $799 for the karcher?

after using a few I would recommend a 4000psi pressure cleaner with a 15m+ hose... But your looking at $1000 to $1500... Also depends what your going to use it for!

bought one of Hoselink - just cant think what the brand name is att he moment. Great unit - they have a lance attachment with a adjustable foaming bottle that literally does foam the liquid (They call it snow storm) very very effective.

Purchased a pressure washer from Bunnings, with a Subaru petrol engine, $540 works brilliant, easy start , high pressure and a soap container that delivers a soap wash prior wash down, great little machine on a wheeled trolley

Have had the same couple of Kerrick pressuries for the last 2 years. Would work them anywhere between 2 to 4 hours everyday full noise at work and the little honda motors havent missed a beat! Good buying at around $ 1300!

I use a 4000pse petrol model

I use a 4000pse petrol model that has the polar bear on it. Can't think of the name now.. Look for Italian water pump high flow rate and good Honda motor... mine was around 2500 has 30 od meters of hose and at full presuure will cut your toes off...
