quick question- where to get a knife in gero or carnarvon
Submitted by Versus on Thu, 2013-12-19 21:39
Passing through gero and carnarvon on the way to coral bay tomorrow, realised I don't have a decent filleting knife. Just after a name of a shop to get a decent knife, unless BCF or similar will have some?

Fishermans Coop at the wharf
Fishermans Coop at the wharf have a good selection of Fdick and others, good quality.
Mostly BCF etc have the cheaper knives that I personally dont use
Turn left down the Port Road as you hit the big intersection and left again just after you cross the railway line flyover at the port

+1 for the fishermans co-op
Good range reasonably priced and more importantly some good quality and brand name knives.

Carnarvon
All of the tackle shops here in Carnarvon have a good range of quality knives. Telomac on Robinson street, Carnarvon Sports in the main town centre and the blue shed down in the harbour section.
